A tradition that Bo's family does is making
caramels. This last weekend we went up to a reunion for Bo's moms family and Bo was given the assignment to bring caramels by his mother since she didn't have the time or energy to do them. On wednesday of last week we made 3 batches and on Thursday we wrapped them all. That's about 425 caramels! Not counting the ones that Boo made off with, every few minutes she tried to come to the table and steal one and run off to eat her newly stolen spoils. But I guess she earned them, she did help make them!
Doesn't she just look like a big helper? Aren't they so cute in their aprons, ready to cook? She was so excited to be up helping daddy make caramels. To the future generations of caramel makers!
The reunion was a sucess, (I have pictures to post), but when it was all over, there was only a small handful of caramels left. Bo is glad everyone liked them so much.
