Saturday the 11th

Saturday morning Boo was up at 3:00, and stayed up talking for a hour! Apparently she must have had a bad dream about monsters since she was asking clarifying questions on their real-ness. We all got up at 7:15 and waited for the girls to be ready for their easter egg hunt. The girls had fun looking for their easter baskets and going on their egg hunt. We had breakfast and then got ready for the day. We drove around to Bremerton, we stopped to look at a very large aircraft carrier. They're huge! Then we drove to Poulsbo to the Naval Submarine Museum. I think the girls enjoyed playing in the “brig” and steering the sub the most. We decided on pizza for lunch, it was firewood cooked pizza - very good. Poulsbo is a little Norwegian town in WA, and they have some amazing bakerys. Then we walked to the Marine Science Center.

The girls liked seeing all the water wild life. They got to touch starfish, a crab, anemones, and got to see an octopus, along with an eel, more crabs and more anemones. There was also a tank with Finding Nemo fish in it – Nemo, Marlin, Dorie, and the “bubbles fish”. We the drove back home, Boo took a nap in the car – she was worn out! That afternoon was spent relaxing, we watched a movie, then the girls went out side to play some more!

Wow! That's quite a meandor through the trip. I had forgotten many of the particulars. I will wait with breathless anticipation for the next episode of Washington memoirs.
