Saturday the 18th

Saturday started with breakfast at the Forks Coffee Shop - they had good pancakes. We then set off to explore Forks and be true tourists! Isn't she cute?!

Photo opportunity at the high school

We checked out the school, some souvenier shops, found the police station, the "Cullens house" - a local bed & breakfast that was choosen to be so, the hospital, "Charlie's house" - which is actually the house of the kindergarten teacher or something like that, and the Forks Chamber of Commerce.

Forks - the logging capital of the world

It was fun to see all the twilight places. We wanted to get down the road to get back to John and the girls, and Evan and his family so we didn't do much sight seeing. We stopped at the burger joint to grabs some lunch/snacks/ice cream and then headed down the road. We stopped at Lake Cresent on the way home, and we got to see a canadian goose up close.

Aside from getting lost, it was a good ride home. We were glad to be back to Laura's house. Boo was glad to be out of the car, and glad to see all the kids. It was nice to have Evan and his family there to visit with, and for Boo to play with the boys. The only down side to all of the kids was the insanity it cause at bath time!
